Oprah Winfrey & Drew Barrymore are teaming up, again!

Today, The National Book Foundation has announced that Drew Barrymore will be hosting their 74th National Book Awards with special guest Oprah Winfrey to deliver remarks.

This glamorous ceremony is annually dedicated to honor the literary work of various figures contributing through the sects of poetry, young adult literature, fiction, non-fiction, and so much more.

Drew Barrymore is widely known for her extensive work as an actress, producer, and lifestyle-content curator with a known love for books and the written word. She is also Host of her own daytime talk-show, The Drew Barrymore Show which is now moving into its fourth season. Her work as an author includes two powerful memoirs: Wildflower & Little Girl Lost.

Oprah Winfrey, a household name like no other, has contributed astonishing efforts to the literary world through ‘Oprah’s Book Club‘.
Since being founded in 1960, Oprah’s Book Club has reached over 100 book selections with a diverse range of authors.

“Throughout their careers, Drew Barrymore and Oprah Winfrey have each demonstrated their enduring belief that books have the power to change readers’ lives—by opening doors, sparking conversations, and building community,” said David Steinberger, chair of the Board of Directors of the National Book Foundation.

The National Book Awards is set to take place on November 15th in New York.
